Skyrocket your email open rates with these simple techniques.
Here are some tested tips that you can use to increase the open rate of your emails
Right email to the right person:
Send your email to different segments created based on behavior instead of one big email list. A segmentized list has a chance of getting as much as 90% of the open rate.
With a segmentized list, you can create emails & subject lines closer to a person’s interest and build a healthy relationship.
Keep your subject lines short:
A/B test four words vs. eight words. We have used One single word in the subject lines as well.
Add previews with your subject line:
If you don’t add a preview with your subject line, an automatic preview is already displayed. So it’s better to pick one yourself.
Add personalized sender name:
It gives you a better response as compared to an email that is coming from a brand name.
Personalized subject lines:
Try this if you have got their first or last name in your data. Personalized subject lines usually perform better, but you should A/B test for your brand as well.
Set email time:
Timing of your email matters. Send your emails according to the local time and A/B test different times accordingly.
Avoid promotional subject lines:
Using sales-related words in subject lines can directly lead your email into a promotional or spam folder.
P.S: With the new IOS update, you can’t identify open rates from apple users. So it will be better to test this on Android users and after you have identified what is working, use it on your whole email list.
