Grow with Email Marketing

Case Study

How to generate $96k in Emails for a quarter million brand?

Last time I did this post, we had hit $65k in emails for the same brand. Now we are hitting $96k with our email marketing strategy! Here is a checklist that is crux of Email Marketing.

Segmentize your email list:
  • Send the right email to the right person. Increase your revenue, but you will also be targeting your customers with a healthy relationship by doing this.

Set up Email Campaigns Calendar:
  • Dig up your audience demographics and set up a calendar for campaigns. The content should include education, informational & engaging content. Discount ratio in emails should be 3-1 or 4-1.

Set definite goals:
  • How many Non buyers are you going to convert this month into Buyers? How many Buyers are you going to convert this month into repeat Buyers? Which products you need to upsell? Which customers you need to target for UGC & feedback? Set these goals, your email campaign calendar and flows strategy will be aligned and generate results for you.

Setup Email Flows:
  • AUTOMATE YOUR EMAILS! Identify all those behaviours that your email list repeats continuously and then create funnels to automate your emails. The most common and must-have funnels include Post Purchase, Repeat Purchase, and Abandoned Series ( Includes 3 or more different funnels).

Set your brand tone:
  • You need to A/B test countless things but first, decide on the tone and visuals of your emails. Set your brand tone with your emails. Your brand tone in emails is going to be your signature.

Two-Step Pop-Up:
  • Setup a two-step pop-up on exit intent-based behaviour, that will increase not only your email list, but you will also be able to generate tons of revenue if you properly setup pop ups separately for each of your main product & then connect it with right email funnel! That will significantly increase your welcome email revenue!

Road to $60k with emails!

18 days ago I posted some numbers for an ecom brand Email Marketing. The first month was not good but after 3 months, we had started doing $50k + in emails. 18 Days later, I am posting again. We have just crossed $60k in sales with 27% revenue generated from emails.
The Goal is $70k. The key is having a good open rate. If your emails are good in copy & design but are not being opened, what’s the point of all that effort?

In order to reach from bad revenue to 50k in emails and from 50k to 60k, we didn’t have to go out of the box, just sticking to my basics with improved retargeting and testing. To hit $70k in emails and generate 35% of revenue from email marketing for this client, we are going to do the following things. Creating sub audiences within the store based on purchase behaviour, and their email journey.
Each audience in the email list is going to receive extremely targeted email campaigns. Basically, instead of having 1 simple campaign & content schedule for the whole email list, we are going to have at least 4 different campaigns & content schedules, each targeting a different type of audience within the store.

The ratio of emails per week sent to an individual profile will stay the same but every audience will be receiving different types of emails within campaigns, with different copies & obviously different designs. This is going to be a lot of work for our team.
This strategy is going to enable us to maximize the revenue through campaigns.
We have already generated $60k with the emails & now that we have cracked the code for this client, it’s going to go up.
