Grow with Email Marketing

Five simple techniques to create emails that won’t go to spam.

If your customers are not receiving emails in their inbox, chances are they are never going to open your emails. This will affect not only your open rate but also your cash flow.

Here are some simple techniques that you can use.

1: Whitelist

The most common reason that any email you send will go directly into spam or junk folder is because they haven’t subscribed to you. And the easiest way to make them do that is right after when they order something from you. The first email you ever send after your customer bought something would have the highest open rate. That email is your connection point, and in that email, make them whitelist you.

2: Clean Up your email list:

Clean up your list regularly. When you send an email, email providers check the ratio of inactive emails vs. active emails on your list. If you get too many non-active emails on your list, your list & emails are at higher risk of being flagged as spam.

3: In-Depth Segmentization:

Increase your open rates by targeting the right segment with the right email & subject line. With IOS Update, you can’t identify who opened your email or not, but that should not make a difference with this method. Sending one email to the whole list is going to increase red flags for the spam folder.

4: Too Promotional Subject Lines:

If your subject lines are directly leading towards promotion, chances are it’s going to the promotional tab at best & spam at worst. So avoid using words leading to this in subject lines.

5: Relationship with your subscriber:

If your subscriber doesn’t remember you or know your email as someone who’s always trying to sell something, all they will do is mark the email spam. And the mailbox keeps the count. After a certain limit, it will automatically go into the spam folder no matter what you send. So it’s essential that right from the start, the relationship with your customer through email is personalized, touched, and way more than simply sending promotions.
